The philosophy of the Beth Israel Nursery School is to promote the development of the whole child by creating an interactive environment, which facilitates social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth. We believe young children learn through play, and we provide opportunities for exploration, experimentation, and manipulation necessary to support future success. Our focus is always on the process, not the product. Activities are child initiated and teacher directed, allowing children to be creative and explore at their own developmental level. We help our students appreciate who they are and what they can do.

Our programs include:

• Naarim - (two year olds) meets Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00-12:00. Extended options for 2 year olds may be available upon request.
• Chaverim - (three year olds) meets Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, 9:00-12:00 with five day and afternoon options available
• Yaffe - (four year olds) meets five mornings from 9:00-12:00 with five afternoons available.
• Kindergarten Enrichment - (five year olds) meets three/five mornings or afternoons (depending upon enrollment)

We now offer extended care Monday - Thursday beginning at 7:30 am until 5 pm. Fridays we close at 4:30 pm.

For our youngest children we offer Mommy, Music and Me - from infants through toddlers. An opportunity for Moms and children to sing, play instruments and movement. This class meets on Friday mornings beginning October 21, 2011.
